Lots of people when they book abroad turn up and then find that their house or hotel is in the middle of nowhere.  With our holiday home you don't have to worry about that, you are only a couple of minutes walk from bars and restaurants.

I have had a lot of people ask me about supermarkets and if they really do want to do self catering how easy is it to get food and drinks and how far away are the supermarkets?

Well, let me try and explain.

Hiperdino (Mini supermarket) - 150 yards from the house

The Hiperdino is a short walk from the house.  Here you can buy everything you need for lunch, drinks or even sun creams.  Think of it like a Tesco Express.  It has useful things but is a little bit more expensive than the large supermarkets.

Mercadona & Lidl - 2km drive/taxi

The Mercadona is our go to supermarket and they have also built a Lidl supermarket right nextdoor.  You will have probably seen the IKEA when you first arrived on your way from the airport to Caleta de Fuste and the two supermarkets are located next to this.  You will need a hire car or a taxi (€4-5) to get there.  It has a great selection of everything.

Spar Euromarket - 2km drive or a 15 minute walk

The Spar Euromarket is great, it is located right behind the Atlantico beach in the shopping mall, so you can spend a day at the beach, stock up on shopping and then get a taxi back to the house.  It has a great selection of fruit, veg and fish.
